Looking Ahead….

As we may pause and think of the year ahead and wonder or plan what we will do. As we think on the things we’d like to achieve, the places we’d like to go, in it all let’s be seeking the will of God and the glory of God because if we have been purchased with the precious blood of Christ we do not belong to ourselves and 2018 doesn’t belong to us.

Our lives are not our own to make decisions about and that’s good and beautiful. Our lives are to be lived in loving obedience to and all for the glory of the One who paid for us so dearly with His own blood from His perfect loving heart.

We have one purpose for 2018 and that is to do what we were created for, to glorify God.

If in 2018, we pray God’s Word over our lives and decisions we will be praying God’s will over our lives and decisions.

We can’t live this year in God’s will if were not living each day in His Word!

If we want to be in God’s will every day, we need to be in his word every day.

If we want God to commune with us every day, we need to commune with Him every day.

If we want God to guide us we have to be holding onto Him.

If we want to hear God speak we need to pause and get quiet and be listening.

Let’s make time in the busyness of life for the one who gives us true Life in Christ Jesus.

Friends, if we live 2018 here, whatever may happen it will be a beautiful, wonderful year!

So I’m praying that everyone of you that reads this will have a wonderful year lived in Christ alone for Christ alone.

‘What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.’ 1 Cor 6:19-20

In love,

I'm a Christian wife and Mum of two. I love to study my Bible and create God centered items for myself and our shop. I also enjoy a variety of crafts, reading and baking. We are all quite creative so our house is often a hive of creativity! I have several chronic illnesses including Lupus and Fibromyalgia so I am very thankful that I have been given a creative mind to help fill the hours when I don't have the energy for anything else.
