Feeling Less Than?

Where are you this morning? Are you longing to know more of Jesus? Are you longing to know more of Christ in you, the hope of glory?

Do you feel less than the least of all the saints? Not enough? So did Paul! Really? Yes, really. (Eph 3:8).

Paul, before he was converted had devoted his life to the Jewish religion, he was a well educated man, taught by the best teachers, he knew what it was to strive to do what is right but when God spoke to him and opened his eyes he came to see that all religion is nothing without Christ. (John 3:36)

Being nothing in ourselves is humbling, the stripping away of self is hard but it’s beautiful because when we become nothing, then there is all the room for Jesus and Jesus came, not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance!

Paul wanted everyone to know what he knows, to experience that close walk with the Lord and

‘That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.’ Eph 3:16

How do we get to know someone better? How does our love for others and theirs for us grow? It’s by spending time with them, talking to them, finding out what they like and enjoy and doing things to please them and by helping each other.

Friends the love of God is full and free and perfect, a love SO full that it’s beyond our comprehension, a love that loves us in spite of all our failings and mistakes. EVERYTHING we need for this life and the next is to be found in Him.

Search the scriptures, learn just how great and wonderful God is, finding out what pleases Him and asking Him to help you to do those things, a sweet leaning on Him to help you, this dear friend is how our love grows!

I'm a Christian wife and Mum of two. I love to study my Bible and create God centered items for myself and our shop. I also enjoy a variety of crafts, reading and baking. We are all quite creative so our house is often a hive of creativity! I have several chronic illnesses including Lupus and Fibromyalgia so I am very thankful that I have been given a creative mind to help fill the hours when I don't have the energy for anything else.
