It’s easy to think of seeking as being something we do before we come to know Jesus as our Saviour but it’s also something we should be doing constantly…
‘Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.’

Here firstly, we’re told to seek the Lord’s strength.
Maybe you need it today Friend? As you look ahead, are you needing that physical strength to continue?
‘Seek the LORD and his strength.’
Or maybe Satan is coming hard against you and tempting you in some way…
‘Seek the LORD and his strength.’
Or you are so fearful that you can’t do what the Lord has laid on your heart…
‘Seek the LORD and his strength.’
Friend, don’t look to others for help and don’t try to push on in your own strength, WHATEVER your need, there is strength to be found in our God.
‘Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we SHALL do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.’
The Hebrew word ‘oz’ translated here as strength also means boldness. God can give you the courage you need to do those hard things Friend, if you’ll just earnestly seek it.

Sometimes God weakens us to show us that we’ve been going on in our own strength. He weakens us to remind us that…
‘without me ye can do nothing.’
BUT…
‘I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.’
Friend, Jesus WANTS you to be leaning on Him. He knows it’s the only way you can truly live for the glory of God.
The Christian pathway is beautiful BECAUSE we don’t have to walk it alone, we don’t have to try to do everything in our own strength, in fact, we don’t have to TRY at all, we just need to RELY and do all things through Christ.

So Friends, let’s be those that seek diligently, seek the grace to lean harder upon God and ‘seek his face continually.’
Seek earnestly the presence of God to strengthen you, to give you boldness through Christ in everything, throughout every day…
‘for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
