There are so many emotions in the Christian’s pathway.

We may be going through this day feeling overwhelmed… BUT GOD!

Or maybe there’s something ahead that you dread… BUT GOD!

Or you feel so worthless and sinful… BUT GOD!

Or the storm rages around you and you fear you’ll drown… BUT GOD!

Or you feel such a failure… BUT GOD!

Or you feel so weak and you don’t know how to continue… BUT GOD!

Or that mountain in front of you seems impossible… BUT GOD!

Whatever we’re facing Friends we don’t have to face it alone! The Bible is full of sweet encouragement and precious promises for such a time as this.

Friend, when you’re overwhelmed His ‘grace is sufficient for thee:’ and you don’t need to dread the future because ‘ALL things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.’

You may feel so unworthy of God’s love ‘But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’

When the storms rage Jesus says ‘peace be still,’ ‘lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.’

When we are weak, God’s ‘strength is made perfect in [our] weakness.’

Ah Friends, life is overwhelming at times but there’s no mountain too high, no storm too strong, no need too great, no battle too fierce for those that are in Christ for the battle is not yours but God’s!’

About Sharon - Savour of Salt

I'm a Christian wife and Mum of two. I love to study my Bible and create God centered items for myself and our shop. I also enjoy a variety of crafts, reading and baking. We are all quite creative so our house is often a hive of creativity! I have several chronic illnesses including Lupus and Fibromyalgia so I am very thankful that I have been given a creative mind to help fill the hours when I don't have the energy for anything else.

Thanks for reading, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
